Sunbelt Holdings and Avenue Communities were the master land developers of this 1,320 acre property which is situated adjacent to PGA West just outside the City of La Quinta, California.

A portion of this land was sold to Shea Homes for development of the new Trilogy at LaQuinta.  A residential and golf course resort-style community which at completion will contain approximately 2,000 residences. The Gary Panks designed championship golf course, Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta, host of the 2003 Skins Game, opened in early 2003 along with the commencement of residential sales.

The remainder of the property was sold to the Drummond Company, developers of Rancho La Quinta, who purchased 1,000 acres to build Andalusia.  It is projected that Andalusia will include approximately 900 homes in a variety of sizes and styles, reflective of the Andalusiz region of Spain.  The project will also include wo world-class championship golf courses designed by Rees Jones.
